This agency, governed by an independent Board of Directors, provides recruitment services and economic development information to prospective businesses, encourages the expansion of existing businesses within the county, prepares county-wide business statistics, provides newcomer information, represents its business membership's views to all levels of government, and performs various membership services.
The Board of Commissioners provides this agency with a facility and an annual subsidy for the provision of economic development services.
