The Information Technology Department is responsible for maintaining, expanding, upgrading, and repairing the county's local area network (LAN) which includes fourteen servers, 200+ desktop computers, various software, network electronics, and other related items such as printers to allow network users to file and print share.

The IT Department also maintains the county's full-time high speed Internet connection which provides all county network users with e-mail and selected users with a web browser for accessing the world wide web.
