The County Administrator, appointed by and directly responsible to the Board of County Commissioners, supervises the day-to-day operations of the departments under the Board's jurisdiction while performing duties as delegated by the Board and coordinating activities among the departments, elected officials, and outside agencies.

This department is responsible for implementing Board policy, preparing commission meeting agendas, maintaining official Board records, developing the annual budget, operating the county's financial accounting and purchasing systems, administering contracts, and conducting special projects.
